I’ve been a professional photographer since starting out as a photo-journalist straight from university in 1998.

In the early naughties I spent eight years as ITV’s in-house photographer, working daily on programmes such as Emmerdale, Heartbeat and A Touch of Frost. In November 2007, I went freelance, partly to expand my photographic horizons, and partly allowing me to train full-time as a triathlete. After representing Great Britain as an age-grouper at the 2008 World Triathlon Championships, and completing my fourth Ironman event in 2009, I hung up my athletic boots and focused on starting a family.

Fast-forward to today and my husband and I live in Harrogate, are blessed with two super-cool kids, and maintain a strong parkrun habit.

I’m fortunate to have enjoyed a wide variety of photographic challenges over the last 20-or-so-years and am always keen to hear from people looking for an extra special image or two.

P.S. I’m afraid I don’t do weddings.
